Animator and blending

Hi!
I was just searching for animator and blend. Nothing! Nobody wonder how to get this to work? I do!

Let me explain:
I have a character which can walk left and right, run left and right, jump and fall. All this animations works very well. The player should also be able to shoot while running, so I need to blend run animation and shoot animation as Jean Fabre explained in another post I found from 2012.

In the Animator window, I create new "Animation From New Blend Tree".
I add two motions. Run and shoot. But I have no idea how to blend these together in playmaker, what kind of Actions I need, etc.

Can someone help me, step-by-step or a tutorial? Or at least something that can get me in the right direction?  :)

Thanks for the screenshot!
But I also need help to setup up animation in the animator window.
Can't someone make a brand new step-by-step tutorial about Mecanim and blend?
It would be very useful for everybody.

When my character run and shoot, I need to blend the shoot animation and run animation, so I need more help to set this up correctly in the animator window.
