creating a Movie player with playmaker
« on: March 19, 2012, 10:07:07 PM »
Hi,
I'm brand new to using playmaker and Unity. I'm trying to use it to create a demo where I need to play a movie when I click a button in my scene. Then close the movie player window when you click on a close button or when the movie ends. I've manage to figure out how to play the movie texture on a GUI box when you click on the button but not sure how to close the box when it's done. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Hi,

To not show the guiBox, you simply need to not be on the state where you define that box. the gui will display what you tell it to display on every call.

so clicking in the button should for example transit to another state where you would just have a play button for example.

Are you using playmaker to show this guiBox ?

Bye,
