Playmaker 1.8.1 -- Hitting escape no longer allows you to create a new variable.

In Playmaker 1.8.1 you can no longer hit the escape key while in the "Variables" tab to deselect the variable to allow you to create a new one.  You must now scroll down to the bottom of all variables to mouse click below them to create a new variable.

Using Unity 5.4.0f2 although it also happened in 5.3.
