Trigger Enter/Exit is too heavy?
« on: January 17, 2017, 10:55:52 PM »
In my game there are some moments the FPS suddenly drop from 60 to 10. I used Profiler and it seems caused by Trigger Enter and Exit. Are they really heavy like this?

That's not supposed to happen unless you are using some really complex mesh collider. Could you give some more information about the game. Is it 3D? Is it happening only on some objects? Is it happening only when using trigger enter/exit?

Hi,

It's 3D game. And there is only a character running on scene. Yes, the peak graph is mostly for trigger exit. I use some trigger collider attached to the player.
Sometime the CPU peak is SystemEvent.
I add some other screenshots here. Sorry I'm not familiar with profiler.
