So, the tutorial that has been listed repeatedly isn't working for me, and there is another issue with it as well:

When I get to the part telling me to use the Smooth Look At Direction, and I apply it to my character, my character spins moving left, right, and when I hit the down arrow it spins like sawblade. The up arrow allows me to move in that direction only.
Why is this happening?
