Hellscreen Retro 90s FPS Kickstarter launch

Hi Playmakers!

I have been using the awesome playmaker tool to make a game which I have in my head for over 15 years!
All mechanics and gameplay have been made using Playmaker. I can honestly say it transformed the way I made games.


Hellscreen is a single player level based first-person shooter for PC, in the fast, frantic style of classic FPS games from the 1990s (such as Doom, Quake, Unreal etc).

It also has a rear-view mirror...

I LOVE playmaker. I worked in the industry as an artist and always wanted to make my own games but was limited by programmers time. Now, I do game jams, little experiments and of course a big indie project like Hellscreen.

Really impressive! Reminds me of the old Quake games but with a little more of a retro look.

I tried it VR! The sense of 3d is really interesting - feels more like a series of flat images on top of each other rather than true 3d but it does look cool.
A basic VR version may be on the cards.
