PlayMaker 101 add force jump (SOLVED)
« on: September 25, 2020, 02:19:39 PM »
Hello, I'm completely new to playmaker and unity..

I have been following the PlayMaker 101 tutorial (which is incredible btw) and got to the part where you add movement and jump to a cube. I rewatched the video about 10 times to figure out what I have missed, and I can't figure out how to get jump force to work. Can some one please help me out? The link I added are screenshots of what I have.

Thanks in advance! :D

Seems you are using a variable on the jump (add force) instead of a float value. And I guess that variable is not defined anywhere hence the value is equal to zero.

Try to click on that small icon at the right side of the Y-Axis entry to change it from a variable field into a float field where you put in the value instead.

Let me know if that works.

Bro you are an absolute life saver, in the tutorial he skimmed over toggling for float. Thanks a bunch!!
