Photon and playmaker, completely lost, any help appreciated

i have a project i've been working on for about a month now, how hard is it to convert pre-existing character controllers into something that works with photon multiplayer. i have no idea where to start and there's very little documentation. my only resource are 2 youtube tutorials i can barely follow
