Drag and drop for actions works poorly (v1.9.1.f7)

Unity 2018.4.30

Here's demonstration of the issue. At the end of the video, you can see that my mouse cursor flickers a lot between different states. This might give you a hint about the core of the issue.


In empty scene it works fine, but I still do see some cursor flickering. But when I added my player to the scene that has lots of FSMs and dried and and drop on in one of those FSMs, issue returned. It only works when I do it super slowly.


I've also noticed that Action window updates usage numbers while this Refresh Action Usage disabled. Issue might be related to this.

I'm having a hard time reproducing this bug. Can you please check if it's still in 1.9.1p2?

I was finally able to track down this issue. Should be fixed in the next update (coming soon).

I have sometimes that when I drag in the action another one gets placed. Like one that is 2 or 3 spots beneath the one I want to drag in.
