Thanks for the reply. On the first link - it looks like that's for AssetBundle unloads, not Resource unload unused's. I'll download it anyhow to see if it's a hidden included action.
edit: Looks like this is just for AssetBundles, not individual Resources.
As for the ecosystem browser, I encountered numerous errors on importing the package. Will also try to work through this but I'm limited to Unity 4.1.4 due to an essential plug-in (which is taking their team quite a while to update; other priorities), so that may be the issue.
Does the first link you provided have the Resources.UnloadUnusedAssets specifically - not just the AssetBundle unload?
