Rewired issue
« on: January 29, 2023, 03:22:23 PM »
Hello,

I am using the rewired asset for my game. I know this is not the rewired forums, but I thought the issue might have to do with playmaker, so I am posting here. When I connect two controllers for my game, it usually works, but sometimes when I connect one controller, do something with that controller, connect the other controller, do something with it, in the next scene, the players are assigned the wrong controller. Why does this happen? Thanks!

Hi.
its not a playmaker issue.

Do you have a rewired controller set in every scene?
or
on a prefab that is in every scene?

if so, rewired should only be set once then use for example 'Don't destroy on load'
You can create it for example on your main menu.
Also add a Singleton Manager (Ecosystem) to make sure there will be only 1 instance of this object

if thats not the case, its best to ask on the rewired forum.
