Download from Unity Store vs Hutong

Hi, just want to quickly check if there's a big difference between buying from Unity Store vs Hutonggames in the long run.

Are there any pros and cons to point out or, not much difference?

There is not much difference.

Hutonggames might have a update earlier that Unity Store
Unity Store is simpler to import

Thank you for replying! How much "less" easy is it to self-import? Will it be complicated? Sry to trouble you w what might be silly questions ;-; I'm extremely new to unity.

From Hutonggames
Once you downloaded from a link that you will get you can easily import into a project.
(also store the purchase e-mail somewhere to access it later)


from asset store you can download it with the package manager.
and the purchase will be stored to your account.


But if you like to support the author more, I would suggest to buy on Hutonggames
since unity takes a chunk from your purchase

once you have purchased, I would recommend you to join Playmakers Discord community channel.
You can find tutorials and lost of helpful people to help out on your journey in unity
