PlayMaker crashing Unity SOLVED (maybe)
« on: January 02, 2013, 05:25:15 PM »
After trying a few thing to fix my problem @
http://hutonggames.com/playmakerforum/index.php?topic=2814.msg12732#msg12732
This project Unity crashed every time I try to show the PlayMaker Editor!
I have done so much work on this Im really sad.
I can load a backup I have, but then the old errors are still present as its not the updated actions from PlayMaker.

Apart from totally start from scratch I dont know what to do!

Hi,

Pm me with the project zipped, and I'll have a look ( I can sign nda as well if you want)

You need to fix all errors before launching the playmaker editor, this may be linked.

bye,

 Jean

Thanks Jean,
After upgrading PlayMaker I did get rid of the PM related errors, but theres still some.. not at run time, but when I do a build... I think they might be Photon files...
The build it creates wont run, and PM crashes if I try to show the menu.

Ill zip the proj later and send to you, no need for an NDA, its just YOUR demo proj with lots of things switched off, and my single button start.

Thanks..

Mark

JEEEZ..
I just tried installing Unity4 on my work machine, got my proj from home (I use Dropbox) and it worked!!! I then upgraded PM thru assest store.. and despite some red warnings (that went away after I ran) all works!!!!

SO I have NO IDEA what went wrong at home... seems like I have a dodgy installation of Unity4 at home!!

So... for now... SOLVED...
