Location of Globals Asset.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

I begun to learn and use PlayMaker for our new game a few days ago and everything is going very well except for one road bump.

I've thus far successfully used SVN as the source control for this Unity project, and used the "externals" mechanism for the files that aren't game-specific, such as those of PlayMaker.

The trouble is, PlayMaker seems to require that its global variables asset lie in a specific place among its other files and nowhere else. When I move that asset somewhere else the globals only last until the scene is closed, after which they vanish.

This means I'm forced to supply each project with its own copy of PlayMaker, just for the sake of that one file!

I tried to search for a way to override that behavior but wasn't successful. Would it be possible to have PlayMaker allow the developer to specify where that asset should go? Is there already a way to do that?

Thanks again. :)

Hi,

Have you filed a report using the playmaker tool menu? you'll be sure then to reach Alex directly.
