Very Sad Day :(
« on: July 31, 2013, 03:26:38 PM »
Hello, Everyone

So I went out and payed for Unity Pro $1500 worth took it out of my savings for my house so I could start making games for android and Iphone.

But later today I find out I cant use Playmaker for mobile unless I have Android Pro or Iphone Pro :( I dont think I have another $3000 to fork out as of yet. Guess I will have to save more. I find it annoying how they charge so much just to have .net socket support in mobile.

Without .net socket support does that mean I cant have ingame stores or ads for my mobile games also?

Regards

Hi,

PlayMaker works just fine with unity indie and mobile indie. Simply delete Photon folder, that's the package that only runs on mobile pro.

bye,

 Jean

Hi,

yes, Photon is only here if you required if you build a multi player game.

What do you mean by social media? you will likely need some frameworks from the asset store if you want to have facebook integration and the like, but that's going to be a lot more affordable indeed :)

bye,

 Jean

Let's hope Mike from Prime[31] Sees the value in making actions so Playmaker can do social networking :D
