Nice and smooth "Scene switch"

hi there,
I wonder how to do a smooth transition from one scene to another.
Is there a module/action for this? And if so, how to setup a "scene switch" with it?
Like pressing a GUI-Button that generates an event... and then?

Not really sure what you mean. Fade to black?

Fade to black or better maybe:
"Fade out scene 1 and fade in scene 2" in an elegant way, I want a soft transition instead of a aprupt one...

I do
1. State1: Camera Fade Out
2. State2: Load what needs to be loaded
3. State3: Camera Fade in => continue
if you want to do it a little more complicated you could have a loading texture and blend it in/out with an alpha interpolation.
