getting audio waveform data into a float
« on: March 20, 2014, 07:50:10 AM »
Hi.  I wondered if playmaker could be used to get waveform data and turn it into a float which could then be used to rotate a jaw bone for example?

I doubt there is any immediate option for accessing raw audio files but if you're working through some middleware or an asset and the variable was available in it somewhere then you could pull it out and use that data in playmaker, sure. You would use Get Component / Get property for that.

Actually there is a lot of data in the Audio Source component that is exposed, perhaps what you need is available in there already.
