Duplicate Material

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to duplicate a material.. Say i am using one and just need to have a slight variation of it.. Instead of starting from scratch i would like to duplicate it and then modify the new one.. But i dont see any way to do that?

Try selecting it and hitting Ctrl-d

Ahhhhhhh right.. Or i could have gone up to the top menu too...  ???

But why it is not on the right click menu like it is for GOs
