Action: Select Rand Game Object
« on: October 13, 2014, 06:58:31 PM »
Hello -

Concerning the Select Random Game Object action inside PlayMaker, what kind of variable does it require inside of the Store Game Object field? Please advise.

That would be a Game Object variable ... so you can reference the game object that has been selected.  ;)

Thats what I figured, but it won't let me select anything because the list remains empty - What do I do?

Hi,

are you trying to use FsmGameObject variable or directly select a gameobject in the scene? if your fsm doesn't have any GameObject variable then you'll have nothing to select if the "GameObject " properties are set to point to a variable.

Click on the "=" button on the right of each "Game Object" properties to toggle between manual referencing and variable referencing.

 Bye,
