Making pursue AI

My goal is to make a chaser AI that behave identical to the ones in this game (http://www.kongregate.com/games/roburky/three-body-problem)
I have tried several methods and none of them came close to the behavior I wanted.
Is this possible to do in playmaker? If so could someone give me a run down of how to do it?
