Getting access to 1.8 for U5 beta?

I just upgraded to Unity 5.4 today. Will vers.1.8 work with it? or do I need the update 1.8.1?

 You should just try, but I would strongly advice you to get the latest version of PlayMaker on the Asset Store, PlayMaker 1.8 cycle is moving fast with lots and lots of bug fixes and adjustments. Is there any reason for you to stick to an early 1.8 version?
