Where are global variables stored? (lost mine)
« on: January 25, 2015, 11:30:15 PM »
So I deleted playmaker and all its stuff because the ecosystem wasn't working properly.  I reinstalled everything and playmaker now works fine.  However there are no global variables.  I have a older backup and wanted to copy them over.  Where are they located at?

geez this really sucks.

Globals are stored in Assets>PlayMaker>Resources.

Backup often! =)

I actidentily deleted the globals when I deleted and reinstalled all playmaker stuff.  I found a older version of the game, exported and then imported.  So I go a lot of older global variables but the stuff I did over the last week is not there (and that was a lot).  Of well, live and learn.  Now I understand playmaker better with the global variables part.

So this leads me to another questions:  can the variables be printed out?  I tried opening with notepad and excel, but that didn't work.  It'd be nice to have a printed list of stuff.

and leads me to another request for future playmaker.  Could there be an automatic backup of global variables to another location?  say the documents folder (windows).  This would back up the global variables automatically on changes to an area away from the project just in case.
