'Call method' not working
« on: February 03, 2015, 03:11:03 PM »
I need to use the 'call method' action.  When I try to drag a script onto it it will not see it.  Also, if I click the circle to the right of it, nothing pops ups in the window (asset or scene).  What am I missing here?  I have a tons of scripts and it doesn't see them.

There is a bug with the behaviors not appearing in the list, but make sure you're not just in the Scene tab when choosing them, as this is a generic menu that defaults to the Scene tab for filtering.

I haven't noticed having trouble drag-n-dopping to those fields. You're dragging the actual mono behavior that is on an object, correct? Not dragging between Scene>Project or vice versa either?

Of course, since there's no behavior, there can be no call. So be sure you are getting the behavior into the slot.

I'm trying to drag the CS script into the slot.  Nothing special.  From the assets area to that action script.

From the project hierarchy or something in the scene? You can't call a method from something in the project hierarchy....
