How can I detect if an object exits a Raycast? I was hoping there would be an On Exit function like other collision detection actions. Sorry if I'm missing something simple.

How do I convert X and Y Input Axis to a Z rotation on a sprite. I want the arrow sprite to rotate in the same direction as the analog stick.

Yeah, that makes sense. So I guess my question is a math question. how do I calculate the vector i need to plug into 'set velocity' to move in the direction of another position? I want an object to move to another object using physics.  This would be a super useful custom action!



I'm not good at maths.

If I want to move a physics2d game object to a desired x and y how do I know how much x and y to apply force to move in the direction of the object? Is there an easy way to do this? ??? Similar to Move To action but physics based.

Playmaker Help / Game Feel When Hitting Enemy- Pausing time [SOLVED]

In a lot of games when you hit an enemy or are hit, it holds the screen for a few frames. What's the best practice of this in playmaker.

Should I use Scale time to 0 with a Wait action of like 0.2 or something?
Or is there a better way to freeze the screen shortly?

Why is it best practice to minimize global variables? It seems easiest if Prefabs just grab a global variable, rather than going through more actions to find out that info from a scene object.

The one in the video is a custom action, not included in playmaker out of the box.

You could use Random Int, set it between 2 and 5 and then run that int through an Int Switch, which will send an event in that range.

Random Event Action is handy too.
