Playmaker Help / Pull back to launch mechanic (Angry Birds, Golf, etc.)

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone built a 'pull back to launch' mechanic in Playmaker?

I have a vague idea of the theory but don't really know where to start practically. Ideally I need it for a top down camera setting in 2D or 3D, rather than left to right like Angry Birds.

I'm not necessarily looking for someone to build the whole thing but a nudge ibn the right direction would be great.

User Showcase / Tower Blast! for iOS

Hi everyone, just a quick post to let you all know my new game for iOS is out. It's called Tower Blast! and is a fun little arcade game with a similar feel to Missile Command. If you get a chance you can download it here:

It uses Playmaker extensively, as well as a few other assets including Pooly, iOS Native and CN Controls, all of which have Playmaker actions available.

My current project has various items with triggers on and use 'Trigger Enter' as a global event. These work fine in the Unity editor but no longer work when I build the project to iOS. Because the main scene wasn't working I created a simple test scene within the same project and this also failed. I then built a test scene in a new project and it worked on build.

After three days of debugging I've found that the culprit is the PlaymakerGlobals.asset. When I remove it from my project the triggers work fine, but when it's there they don't. I've attached a picture of how I have the event set up as a global. I take it having it set up as an event that appears above the state rather than below automatically makes it a global event because the global check box next to it in the events list is greyed out. Also when I look at events included in the PlaymakerGlobals.asset file Trigger Enter doesn't appear.

Is this a bug? If not, can anyone help me fix it.


Playmaker Help / Trouble dragging GameObjects onto an Action

I have a Send Event action set up that I want to send an event to an FSM on another GameObject but when I try and drag that GameObject into the appropriate slot it won't set it.

Is anyone else having this problem? Could it be something to do with using dual monitors? I'm using the latest versions of both Unity and Playmaker.

Can anyone help please?

General Discussion / Problems with the Playmaker UGUI package [SOLVED]

I've downloaded and imported the uGuiProxy.unitypackage but I seem to have a problem with the Playmaker UGui prefab item that I need to add to my scene. When I select it I get an error message on a script component in the inspector telling me that 'The associated script could not be loaded.'

Any idea how I fix this please? I'm using Unity 4.6.0f3 and Playmaker 1.7.7.f6
