Hi All, I've asked the dev (Lacost) on his thread about the iADs - he says he's not sure about how to do them, and doesn't really know what Playmaker users want him to implement, so he really needs you guys to get in touch with him and let him know! I've obviously asked for iADs, coz that's what I'm really holding out for!
Does anyone know of a foolproof guide online about how to set up iADs in Unity??
Oh, also, just remembered!...
Lacost did say that he has already submitted a new version to the Unity Store (pending approval) that has the iADs implemenented! He says that all you'll need to do is lob an object into the scene and attach his script to the object, and you'll have ads working!? I do hope it's that simple!!

Playmaker Help / Touch object is unresponsive?

Hello, got a problem that's been bugging me for weeks now...

I have a toggle effect in game, for a thrust type thing, like in Asteroids, so when you press, you get thrust, when you let go, the thrust stops.

Works fine on keyboard - get key pressed, get key released - totally fine, works 100%, always. But when I try to do the same behavior with a touch on screen, it's just not quick enough and I usually end up thrusting forever, until I bash or slide on the screen to finally trigger the released state.

I'm sure it worked fine once, about a month ago, but now it's always sticking in the pressed state and is generally unresponsive, yet keyboard control is flawless.

I've read stuff about things having to be in Fixed Update etc, but have no idea how that relates to Playmaker?

Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get my touch object events to be as responsive as the keyboard?

Yeah +1 to that please! I'm looking to get iAds in, and keep ending up back there at the iOS Native page! May just have to bite the bullet and see if I can figure it out  :-\
Has anyone here used iOS Native?

Playmaker Help / Is 'Broadcast All' too heavy?

Hi All, new here, first post, been reading a lot though, so thanks for helping me already!

My question is this - should I avoid Broadcast All?? The name suggests it would be intensive and unnecessary, and I should try to broadcast to specific objects where possible. Is this the case?

It's just that I have a prefab that I cannot broadcast to a specific game object (upon collision), because it's a prefab, yeah? So, I could reverse the process and have the collide object make the broadcast to the specific object when it is hit by the prefab.

Should I take the time to reverse the process, because Broadcast All is too heavy, or do you think I would be safe to leave it as is and have the prefab Broadcast All?
