Has anyone come across any playmaker actions or addons that will allow me to integrate Admob or chartboost  or anything without coding?  Like can someone recommend the simplest one?

Playmaker Help / How to delay an action within the same state

I already know how to delay going to a next state but I am wondering how to delay an action in the same state. Allow me to explain. Lets say I am in a state and I have 3 actions A, B and C in that order (A is on top and C at the bottom of the list).  I assume playmaker executes A , B and C sequentially. However if I wanted to delay for 2 seconds between each action how would I do this without using separate states to house each action?


Playmaker Help / Getting an animation the slowly fade away?

I made an animation of a diamond for a game (its a reward for when you accomplish something).  I managed to make it rise slowly by adding a rigid body to it and changing the gravity to -5.  However as it rises it need to slowing fade out of existence (i.e. I need to the alpha to slowly be reduced to zero). Anyone knows what function/action I need to use in Playmaker?

Does anyway know how to send text to an email address using playmaker? I only see one action in the Action Browser called GUI Layout Email Field.  Is there any I can get from Ecosystem?


Playmaker Help / Getting Particles to go to a point

I am using the particles in Particle System in UNITY.  I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the particles being emitting to go towards a point?  I know how to get the whole particle system to go to point using "MOVE TOWARDS" playmaker.. but I don't want the whole system to move.  Just want the particles being emitted to move towards a single point.

Any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to use play-maker to check to see if your game is connected to the internet / wifi?


Thanks a lot I didn't realize there was an Int Operator function.. that solves everything.. thanks a million man


I know how to use the Random Integer function, however for a game I am developing I need to generate a random multiple of 10 or 100. 

Is there any function to multiply a number by 10 also ???

Playmaker Help / Problems exporting game to android

I am trying to build android game (well export it android) and I am encountering some issues. I downloaded and installed the Android-SDK and Jave JDK and pointed the external tools to the correct locations- I have attached a picture

The only problem I am seeing is some warning popping up in the Revision Control Diff/Merge window above. I am using windows 10 and unity 5.50f3 and wondering if that is causing the errror and if so how do i go about (or which one to install from the list ? SourceGear, TkDiff etc) or IF playmaker based games usually has problems exporting to andriod when building...

When I build its compiling etc , but no APK file appears...

Any ideas?

Playmaker Help / Advice needed on animation

I have been using a lot of FBX animations in my 2D game and will for some reason the Animator gives a of trouble to flow from one state to the next (its works perfect with sprite based animations). So I decided to use a different method.. where I simply Activate and Deactivate FBX animations using the "Activate Game Object"  when I go from state to state. It works fine but I wanted to know if there is any disadvantage to using this method (I know its a bit caveman-ish)...

Also I wanted to know if an object is deactivated in a scene .. does it use any resources .. i.e. If i have to many deactivated game objects in a scene will it slow down my game.. or will it only begin to tax the CPU when it activated..?

I actually just changed my canvas to "World Space" mood and all my problems just went away :S... I don't know what made me try it..

I have a question though.. if in Play Mode in unity if I try ALL the resolutions from the drop down menu and it looks good in the game preview area for all .. does this mean it will look good in real life on all phones?  In other words can the Game Preview area we trusted?

Are there any programs out there online that allow you to upload you built game and have it simulated on different phones?


Playmaker Help / Problem with UI Button and Animation / Animator

Good Day,
I have made a UI button and attached the anchors to one corner of the canvas so when I have a different size screen it will maintain its general position (This works fine). Attached is some pics of how it looks at 2 different screen resolutions (Picture_1)

However, I am trying to add animation to the buttons using the Animator. So this is what I did in the inspector. Please note the animation were done as sequential sprites.  This is how my INSPECTOR looked (Inspector Picture) I had to add Sprite Renderer to get the animation to show.  However this is what if looks like now when I used different screen sizes (Picture_2).

Why doesn’t the sprite stay inside the Button Area? Shouldn’t the animator be where the button is? Does anyone know to resolve this issue? Using or not using playmaker?

It seems once you add a sprite to any UI object it no longer obeys the anchors. Why is this ?


Playmaker Help / Need Help with Camera, Canvas & Background

I am trying to get my background the scale to find the different pixel resolutions out there.  I have an idea, but I am not to sure how to implement it. This is my idea using playmaker to solve the scaling issue -

1. Using playmaker use "Get Screen Width" and "Get Screen Height"
2. Set the camera to the Width and Height in 1.
3. Set the background pic to the Width and Height in 1.

I cannot figure out how to do (2) and (3) as I see nothing in the Action Browser. Any ideas.

Also can some one tell me why on UI elements can be attached to the canvas. Won't life in unity be 10000000000 times simpler if anything (images, animations, sprites) could all be attached to the canvas via anchors?  Then eventhing could move synchronous  when scaling occurs.

Is there anthing in ECO SYSTEM that can solve this issue?
