next step of my training series,

i would like to use a variable stored to make choice of texture

traditionnaly:

if variable == 1, apply texture 1
if variable == 2, apply texture 2
else apply texture 0
etc...

another thing i try to do is to set a variable to change when the player click on corresponding button.

the value stored could after been used for anything, but for now i can't find the right way to set this...

hi,

i made a custom material that can be controlled by sliders for RGB.

my problem is at start, the value is always 0, resulting a black material.
i have set the sliders parameters to be from 0.5 to 1
but this do not change my problem.

any idea ?

following tutorial, this time i can't find the "send event to fsm" function listed inside the state machine

i tryed send event but i'm lost with a message error:

Code: [Select]
"required field...
cube fsm on sendevent : sendevent"

this make hard to follow the tutorial and understand what seams to be simple at the beginging...

hi,

i just started to work with playmaker, following the tutorial,
it's working but i need some help to understand something with animation

i setup the door like in the video, it works nice.

i made my own door, animation don't follow correctly, i explain:

state 1--> closed, put the anim closed (the one in loop, always closed)
trigger enter--> play animation open (the one in loop, always open)
state 2 --> same as above
trigger exit --> play animation closed (the one in loop, always closed)

it spawn directly the final state of the animation, not blending door

why ???
