Hi,

Thanks for your very apreciated help !

I have try this method, but if I remplace the GameObject variable type in the script by a "Object" variable type, the script turn invalide. (this is "simplepath", I try to change the gameobject in the "interaction chase" agent).

Unity say the script use a "MoveToGameObject" and that not compatible with a "Object" variable type.

There is a solution for the problem ?

Thank for your help ! I have finaly used a other system for the tank turret, a simple projectile.

Hi,

I have try to use only "from gameObject" or "from position" but nothing is changed.

A screen of the problem :



On this screen, my tank is in the center of the scene, a debug line is raycast from the turret of the tank to the mouse, all is ok.

But if I move the tank to the top (for exemple)



Or to the right...



the direction of the line is wrong...
This is a problem whith my vectors ?

I have solved the problem, but I have another one now.

I use "Raycast" to draw a line between my tank and a object fixed under the cursor :



But the line direction is calculed with the origine point of the scene (0,0,0). (I can post a video)

Someone can help me ?

Hello, (and sory for my english, I'm french).

I try to make a little tank game with a top down camera. The tank work, but now I whant to make a simple fire system : when the player click, a raycast line is draw from the face of the tank turret on a certain distance and if an enemi is detected on the line, an action is realeased on it.

I try to use "Draw Debug Ray" and "Reycast hit info" but I don't understand the fonctionnement of it.

That's great !

Personally , I am interested by the use of the Vector3 and the creation of an AI with playmaker (I would add other suggestions next time). I'm very interested by an inventory system (like diablo 1 for exemple).

I go back to your tutorials now ! Thank you again for this Awesome work !

I have resolved the problem, I used the particule efect from the scene and not from project directory (newby error ^^).

Ok, but in the first state of your FSM, the "first_speed" variable is stored as a float value (float operator and Set velocity). This is possible ?

Thank for the material, that work ! But the "first_speed" is a float ? I can't enter a vectorial value into it. I'have juste unchecked the float operator of the first state and remplaced "first_ball" in Z by 3.

Hello,

I try to create a particule effect like the sparcle projection of this exemple from the TestLab :

Is it hard ? When I instert my particule effect in the scene whith "on shot" and "auto-destruct" selected, the particule disappear in the hierarchy panel and I didn't create it in the scene after that...

PS : can I found the "Add Force" exemple ?

I have tested but the ball is static at the start of the scene, all variable is 0 value in the inspector after start (the first speed to). I have created a new scene and configured Unity as your screen shot, and create the same FSM for the ball :









The scene after pressing play :



I have see you use a specific physic material for the ball ?

Very good web game, the shader is a very good idea. Thank you for the screen shot and detailed explications, is it perfect for à beginner like me.

@ jeanfabre (tiens, un compatriote francophone ? ^^)
I was used a Unity script fonded on the web who work correctly,  but I prefere use playmaker to explore his capacities. Thanks you for they informations about the possibility of playmaker.
