Playmaker Help / Strange behavior / Application Pause

Hello,

On my Android app, I have APPLICATION PAUSE & APPLICATION QUIT on the same FSM, as shown in the attached image. APPLICATION QUIT works exactly as intended, but APPLICATION PAUSE doesn't, some times I do an APK build and test, after pressing home button and exiting the game it saves, but sometimes when it doesn't save, I rebuild the exact same APK and it functions as intended, it is like scratch and win, based on my luck, I am wondering if it could be something during the build process?

Keep in mind I have already released the app, 10% of my users complain that the game does not save unless you quit the app using the back button, but progress is always lost when quitting using home button.

This problem occurs since Unity 5.5, I have also tried on 5.6 and 201, Playmaker 1.8.4 & the new beta. Could the problem be somewhere during the build process? It has been the giving me a headache since a long time now.

Testing basic chess AI, this project is being developed for the Google Dadyream platform. Currently AI has very basic moves, but making sure all the logic is done right before proceeding to more complex moves.

Playmaker Help / Saving Hashtables generated at Runtime [Solved]

Hello,

Is there a way to access a Hastable in Editor mode that is generated at runtime? basically I would like to save the generated Hastable into a Hastable game component to be accessible in Editor mode. I am using Easy Save 2 to to save and load my data, but since its just a first time launch Hashtable I would like to increase performance by having the contents of the hashtable included in the final build instead of generated at runtime on mobile device.

Hello,

Upon sending an RPC Event with string data it seems like everything is going well, I have the string as the player name, but I need to send player Avatar which is a "texture" to the other player, how can I achieve this?

I really need a solution, thank you

Playmaker Help / Get Key Down not Responding after "APPLICATION FOCUS"

After returning from "APPLICATION FOCUS" event that directs to the "Get Key Down" Action, the "Get Key Action" does not fire the action when key is pressed, except when FSM is Disabled then Enabled again, this was tested on an Android device. Is it a Bug? or me?

Racey Cars, a physics based Endless Driving game. Still a work in progress and would like your feedback and ideas, you can opt in for Alpha testing provided the link below.

Playmaker Help / FsmObject Variable

Hello,

I am working on a small set of custom actions regarding tk2DTilemaps, I am not a coder and most I do is Copy, Paste, Combine, and ask for help :) Thank you

I have written this code and so far it is working just as expected, the only problem, since the Object required is a tk2dtilemap Object, I cannot have it as a drop down menu so I can choose from a stored Object variable. Only drag and drop works. How can I convert the tk2dtilemap object to be in the Object Variable?

Hello,

I am trying to apply the following line to a custom action im working on:

TileID.Value = (tilename.GetTileIdAtPosition (Position, LayerNumber));

ofcorse im using the variables:

FSMVector3 Position
FSMInt LayerNumber

I am getting an error cannot convert FSM.Vector3 to UnityEngine.Vector3

I am not a coder, just trying to copy actions and modify them, and so far has been working but i stuck at this one. any help? Thank you

Hello

I have a grid of UI images, something like a crosswords game, I have an FSM attached to the Image prefab, is there a way to use "IsPointerOverUi" action with the Gameobject variable ? I need to store the UI object the the pointer is over, this way I can manage all buttons from one manager instead of having many FSMs when many are created for harder levels. So basically something like a MousePick event but with UI.

Playmaker Help / RTS Selection Box Scaling

Hello,

Following examples here I was able to create an RTS selection box, it does the selection and everything I need except the scaling, when I click Mouse Down it starts exactly at the mouse coordinates by Using Screen to World, but when I scale the Box to do my selection, the more I move the mouse the further it gets from the corner of the Box, I know theres only one step let but I cannot figure it out.

actually links to "Exploder" in the asset store  ;D maybe you can fix it ?

Playmaker Help / Conditional Random Letters

Hello,

I have a crosswords game, everything is working perfect, except the fact that letters are randomly generated on the tiles with no condition, so sometimes you can barely make up a few words because you will have letters like "G,H,K,F.. etc" in a row so it becomes almost impossible to find words.

How can one achieve Letter generation on tiles that is somewhat smart and will have actual words? I just need the tip of the iceberg I do not know where to start.
