I needhelp with playmaker

I do have unity 5.6.1 version and just bought Playmaker 1.8.9 the latest version

my concern is , should I be using Unity 5.6.1 with the new version of Playmaker or is a better version of unity that goes along with the latest version of playmaker that won't be showing any errors

Please advice also, about how i can change the Playmaker version once is been bought already, for another version.

1.8.9 should be fine with 5.6.1

Are you getting errors (red) and/or warnings (yellow) in the console?

Can you show an image from the errors / warings?

Also be sure to make a backup from your project, just to be sure.
