The good and bad things with this forum
« on: February 22, 2016, 03:32:09 AM »
Hi, everybody!

I'm sorry, but I feel I need to write this. I'm sure many are agreed with me.

The good things:
1. You can share your masterpieces with other people.
2. You can get help if you are stuck. (If you are lucky)

Well, it's many other good things also, but number 2 above is the most important and the reason I write this. It will be in more details below.

The bad things:
1. It's very frustrating when I need help, nobody helps me. Or I'm very lucky if I get some help. Maybe my questions are not interesting, but should that really matter?

It's many talented people on this forum who knows Unity and Playmaker in and out. But also many new people who really need help. I just wish we all could be better to help, whatever the question is.

I think it was only one bad thing for now. :)

Have a nice day! :)

Hi,

I am sorry you have trouble getting answers to your questions.

I usually try to catch as much as I can, tho this month is special with me being almost totally focused on a private project until 5th of march...

Few things:

-- Do send me a private message when you get no answers,
-- I had a look at your last few questions, and I think I know why you are not getting answers on them ones, because they don't seem to relate to PlayMaker purely speaking. I would ask them on Unity Forum and Unity Answers.

Bye,

 Jean

Hi, Jean!
Thank you!

But I post them in "General Discussion" I thought this was for other things that is not related to Playmaker, but I can of course ask the Unity forum. It will double the chance to get an answer. :)

Btw. I need maybe some people to test a prototype of a game for android. I can also share the Unity file so you can see if it's another safer way to do this. It's a Game Matching game. Find two matching images. I use Array Maker. I experience some strange problems I can't solve, because it happens only 1 of 10 times. Most of the time it works very well, but suddenly I get this problem. Therefore I need other people to test the game until they discover this problem.

I will make a new topic about this with the game file and more details.

Hi,

I would suggest you isolate the issue instead of sharing everything. It will allow members of this forum to give you meaningfull help.

if you want to share your project, make sure you remove the PlayMaker dlls, as they are not distributable.

Bye,

 Jean

Hi,
For testing on android you can use the google play developer console, Google Groups and/or Google+ Communities

Invite people into Google Groups or Google+ Communities and set up alpha/beta testing in the google developer console.

Hi!

I have tested it by myself for a while now, without getting any bug. So far it works very well. :)
