Custom Actions: Javascript

The link for "A Simple Action in Javascript" is empty.. Is there a good resource for creating custom actions in JavaScript? Is writing a custom action in javascript fully supported? Trying to get the answer on this before i commit to buying playmaker, as i prefer JS over C# and definitely don't want any limitations or lack of resources just because of choosing JS over C#.
