Global Variables Delete Themselves!! what?
« on: August 07, 2015, 09:21:10 PM »
I really hope everyone backs up their Global Variable Resource folder. It should be as mandatory as Miranda rights for playmaker until its FIXED.
The Set and Get Property XYZ values are resting themselves to "none" when I hit the play button.  Sure I can just go back and redo them all but its getting annoying. My project has tons of these properties! I'm almost certain it has everything to to with Global variables. Someone told me they are as dangerous as inhaling Carbon Dioxide. What could be causing this automatic reset? There's no reason whatsoever that Play-maker or Unity should have to readjust my values. The only one how has authoritative access to this FSM is me. Please help me and if I get a reply from anyone, I will go into more in-depth detail of this bug and post pictures. Thanks!

My RANT---Iv'e been wrestling with this problem for over year now. I am the unlucky bug finder when it comes to all assets! No I don't arbitrarily go hunting for these things they just hit me in the face and I patiently try to work around them but this is driving me Bananas. I'm creating a 2D isometric game. The player is able to walk and run in 8 different directions and you can imagine the G-normous  web of play maker Rag-u Spaghetti and meat balls that is. All in all the system works perfectly, but the slightest whiff or breeze will make it crumple. Hence the issue at hand

There's a file in the PlayMaker => Resources Folder which contains your Global variables. See if they are not 0 so you set your own values on them; Not in the Variables Window.
