Ground Stomp

In my game I want the character to immediately hit the ground when I hit a button while he's in mid air. I tried using translate and add force but both of those cause him to go through the floor or cause other weird and buggy things to happen. What action could I use to get this to work?

Hi,
Maybe try "Move Towards" or "Move Towards Advance" (custom action)

Try "shooting" a meshless gameobject with no collider on it downward from your character when you press the groundpound button then have your character follow it down at whatever speed you like.. the character will collide with ground and you can destroy the followed object.
