Hi,

 Thanks :)

This is currently in closed beta, I don't have enough flexibility in the sdk to let you play with it just yet :) so If I add you, you will not yet be able to implement it in your game, is that ok?

bye,

 Jean

This is really clever. I wonder why no one's thought of this before?

Question: I've been messing around with Ouya, would this work just as easily requiring only someone to scan a QR code? (This is of course would require the Ouya to be online)

Hi Jean-

Is R.mote still in development?

I am developing a small mobile party game using Unity and Playmaker. The game requires a virtual controller on one mobile device (as the primary source of input) networked to a scene running on a second device.

My plan is to also use Photon given its support in Playmaker (an ad hoc set-up would technically make more sense for such a game, but my coding skills are not up to the task).

Given R.mote appears to have done a lot of this work already, I was curious about its status.

thank you!

Sounds great ! - But I do have one suggestion - If you could give uses a bluetooth connection option, it would resolve lag almost completely, and leave the network connection in place for users where BT isn't an option.

Hi,

R.mote is not currently under active dev, but pm me and we'll take it further, I am motivated to move this forward, It has huge potential, but I severly lack of time to make it move forward, so if you have a real project, I think it will help.

As for bluetooth, this is not really how it was conceived originially, R.mote is meant to totally remove the physical bind between the controller and the machine, so you can take control of something that is happening on TV for example. But I hear you and I agree it's something that R.mote should consider for a flexible system when it's going to go live.

 Bye,

 Jean
