Update User Tutorials Wiki
« on: September 12, 2016, 07:54:23 AM »
Hi,
I will soon start with updating the User Tutorial wiki and i thought that before i start,
i would ask you guys for any ideas on how to set it up.

Things i have planned are :

- Make a topic where you can post links to tutorials that are not yet in the wiki
- To sort tutorials by category
- Section for Tutorials in different languages
- Have a link to the topic (if there is), to the sample file (if there is) and directly to the video.
- Have Links to playmaker tutorial sites
- Use multiple pages instead of everything on one page
- a page for outdated (Older version below 1.7.x) tutorials

For the layout i am thinking to use a grid base layout list that includes :
Tutorial name / topic link / sample link / video link / author

If you have any suggestion or ideas please let me know.

Could include Actions (or similar) section in the grid - highlight important actions in the topic for Search to find.
Also could be a Difficulty tab ( * to ***** )

Not sure about Sample Link idea, if there are some bug fixes (and link brakes), would have to update again.
Maybe have only one link to the topic, without sample and video as they are in the first link.

Hi,
Yes maybe a direct sample link is not a good idea, but i think i will add sample in the grid showing if the tutorial has a sample or not.

Video links i think i will add.
Several tutorials are not posted in the forum
some on websites or only on youtube.
(only a text link i think)

I also thing i will add a description tab

Difficulty tap is also a good idea.

thx for the feedback
