Google Play Services and AdMob

I'm looking for a solution for both android and ios regarding Google Play Services (specifically Leaderboards) and AdMob (with mediation).

I haven't found any playmaker tutorials on this subject, so I thought I'd try to follow coding tutorials, where they explain everything step by step, like this one:
The problem is that I can't edit some of the code, because I used playmaker fsm's instead of C# scripts.
How do you tackle these problems in your own games? I know there are plugins like Stan's Ultimate Mobile, but I don't know how well they work, and I also find the price a little high for me, since I only need Leaderboards and AdMob.

Hi,
I am using Stan's 'Android Native' asset for a long time now and it is definitely worth the price.
and it has good documentation.

'Ultimate Mobile' is for multi mobile platform,
so maybe you can start by getting it for a single platform and upgrade later.
