Categories are reset in the Template.

When I create a new object or a new variable, my categories are reset. Every time I create, I have to put everything in its place in the right categories. Perhaps you know about this problem? If so, when can you fix it?

1.9.0.p6

Even if you change the name, the assigned object disappears. Such bugs since version 1.8

Please try updating to the latest version (1.9.0.p12). I wasn't able to repro the issue in that version...

Unfortunately, in the updated version, if you add something new, then the objects are randomly arranged in other categories. And if you change the name, the assigned object disappears. It hinders a lot. 2 years I have been making the game and for so many years this problem :( I don’t know how others have overlooked.

That sounds bad, we definitely need to track down the problem! Can you submit a bug report so we can get more system info and try to reproduce the problem here. PlayMaker > Help > Submit Bug Report.

Hi.
i just had a similar issue, i think it hapend when i copy pasted a state from fsm 1 to fsm 2

fsm 1 had a catergory set and it disapeared.

Also on 1.9.0.p6. updating to p12

i did also have the same issues before on older projects.

i will keep an eye on it if it happens again.

@artixpro are you using Windows or Mac?

I recorded a video with a problem, when I change my name to another one, the assigned one disappears. The second problem is difficult to reproduce because it must be caught. I work under Mac Os. Despite these shortcomings, I have been working with your product for 2 years and I am very glad that you are. In May, work on the children's quest will be completed.

I noticed that the variables in the categories fall apart when the scene is saved.

I caught a bug :) Look when I add a new variable, the names in the categories randomly change the order. I hope you fix it. I really hope for you :)

I'm having difficulty reproducing here. Just to double check, can you confirm the PlayMaker version in PlayMaker > Help > About

Hi.

@ artixpro.

Is you project an older project that had PlayMaker Version 1.8.5 or older?

So far i seem to notice that on my new projects it does not happen (yet)

I'd just like to add that i've been having the same issue in normal Fsm's and templates for a long while now in multiple versions but have not been able to pinpoint the exact circumstances to trigger this. Thus no bug report.

It just seems to happen randomly in situations where variable names get copied or new variables added and it somehow causes the variables to switch to different categories.

Hi.
So far on my newer projects it did not happen yet. (fingers crossed)

@LordHorusNL

Does it happen with updated projects only or with new projects also?

In the past it seemed to happen to both upgraded and new projects, however i've not tried the latest PM release yet.
