Hi, i am trying to optimize my old 2d game with a better global game state. it does work, creating a game instance, telling a score manager what to do...showing/animating new score value...probably unlocking something and so on... but then it is getting too complicated. Now i am searching for a better simple solution and i just read this old post :

This would be exactly what i want. A "global" gameobject, that handles data ( probably stored in an xml,  sounds awesome).

@jeanfabre  could you tell me how to set that up / point me in a direction of a tutorial or example project?
