FSM Graph cleanliness
« on: September 15, 2012, 08:50:08 PM »
I have become quite anal about having my FSM "look good", not from a functional perspective but purely aesthetically.  Please provide more support so I don't have to be so OCD.

Don't let the links go through a state.
Allow me to move the link lines around.

Some things that I only found out after I started this post:
I can "force" the direction the line comes out of the state.
Circuits!
Snapping! (Always hold ctrl when moving a state! Why is snapping not default?!?!)

The above needs to be more easily discoverable, i.e. put a button on the bottom of the graph to turn snapping on or off.

Would be amazing if there was a "clean-up" button to remove all unused variables/events and attempt to make your graph look clean.  The graph looking clean would be hard so its a stretch goal but the unused variables/events would be easy.

Actually there are delete unused options in the events and variables settings menus (cogs in the upper right corner).

Yeah, I was thinking about making an always snap toggle... If you're into snapping you probably want to do it all the time ;)
