Manual transition triggering and flow triggers
« on: April 08, 2021, 09:06:19 AM »
There is a shortcut for this that works so so on OSX but I believe not only there should be a visible menu function, but this could also be enhanced, all for easier triggering of specific translations at runtime.

First of all, when doing a RMB on any of a state's translations, this new category of functions would appear in the menu:

1. Trigger this translation  (grayed out if not at runtime)
2. Show / Hide Flow triggers  (can be set up in Preferences too)

So what would a flow trigger be?
I suppose it would be some kind of little square button with an arrow in it, displayed inside the translation's rectangle. If the transition exits leftward, the button would be located on the left and the arrow would point to the left. Inversely, if the transition exits rightward, the button would be stuck to the right side of the transition's rectangle and its arrows pointing to the right.

These triggering buttons would be invisible or faintly visible outside of runtime.

Sorry for the edit, I noticed I had typed translation instead of transition in the title. :/
