Using Naninovel with Playmaker
« on: April 29, 2021, 09:12:02 AM »
Hey guys,

Glad to be part of the community.
So I recently purchased the asset "Naninovel." It's basically a Visual Novel maker if you're not sure exactly. The big feature to this is that I'm able to incorporate separate 3D gameplay to a integration. So I've followed all steps on your official first person mode tutorial. I'm able to get that to work, but now I'm having trouble getting to it and (and out of it) using naninovel's example code
https://naninovel.com/guide/integration-options.html#manual-initialization

I get to the point where it's looking for a CharacterController3D, but I don't know how to connect this to my playmaker character controller.

Side note, if anyone has made a project where they went from VN world 1 -> 3D world 1 -> VN world -> 3D world 2 -> etc. please let me know! This is one of the biggest hurtles I have to cross

Thanks everyone,
Pat

Hi.
It seems they have playmaker supported.
https://naninovel.com/guide/playmaker.html

i think its best to contact the author from the asset (or if they have a formum/discord try there)

You can also try to ask on our discord channel in the help channel, maybe someone has this asset and can help :)

Well they told me to contact you guys haha. I did go to them first though, since they had documentation on it all.
I'll look in discord too, thanks
