Textmesh Pro Actions not working!

So I got the Textmesh Pro package from the Ecosystem and it just doesn't work...

Whenever I add it to an FSM on a game object that has a TMP-component, a red box still shows that says that the game object requires a textmesh pro component and that I should click there to add one.

However, when I click there nothing happens. Also, I shouldn't have to since the game object already has a TMP-component! I noticed another post somewhere that said that the TMP actions that were in the Ecosystem had this problem but that I should get it from here instead:
However, that still has the exact same problem! The red box is still there and I can't get the actions to work! However, now it  also says in the console that I can't add a TMP-component because it already has one!!

Can I just not use TMP with Playmaker? Why are there no working actions for TMP yet?

Hi.
You need to use the TMP Ui (ugui) action to work with the TMP Ui component :)

The action you are using is for text outside ui (canvas) :)

Hi.
Basically you have 2 sets of textmesh actions.

as you also have 2 different textmesh components.

1 for UI and 1 for world (so not in canvas)
