LateUpdate component - Where does it come from?
« on: October 25, 2022, 07:50:05 AM »
Hi here,
I have a prefab with some FSMs that somehow got a LateUpdate component added to it. Has a description saying "This component is normally added automatically by PlayMaker".

I'm unsure when and why this was added and I don't know if it's still needed.
Everything seems to work fine when removed but I'd like to understand when it happened and know for sure if I need this or not.

What kind of actions usually add this compopnent?

[edit] Ok if removed, it automatically comes back when I build.
Guess it's needed then, still would like to understand which actions does that.

Hi.
Most actions that have a setting for Late Update / Fixed Update.
For example Tween actions.

Also trigger (2d) events will add components (on trigger enter/stay/exit)
