poolmanager playmaker and physics question
« on: February 12, 2014, 02:45:32 AM »
im using poolmanager, just to shoot a projectile (driven by physics ). im finding that even though i have the force amount fixed , the speed of the projectile varies over time (speeds up to a point, then seems to reset itself before starting over again.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks!

Hi,

something is interacting with it, maybe the physics engine or a code somewhere.

Are you sure nothing else controls or gets in the way of its trajectory?

bye,

 Jean

Hi jean,
Thanks for replying. I have a cube that i use as a trigger for the projectile to despawn after it hits, but there is nothing between the point where it spawns and where it terminates.

Hi,

Odd, difficult to say without a test scene or some more details. It could be a lot of things.

bye,
