How to draw a thick line, and with color.

I want to  drag a cube use the mouse(or finger), then the mouse away , draw a line from the cube to my mouse position, and then release the mouse, cube moves to the position of the mouse.

Hi,

 Have you tried Vectrosity?

else, you can use simple tricks such as a box you stretch and rotation inbetween both your object.

what are your experimentations so far on this?
