Unity 5.3.4 Templates "Missing variable"[SOLVED]
« on: April 04, 2016, 01:42:00 AM »
I just updated from Unity 4.7 to 5.3.4 and I'm running into an issue where templates throw up a ton of errors "Missing variable" even though the variables exist and are hooked up, even after re-hooking them up.

Is this just me?!

Hi,

Depending on the steps you did for upgrading, it could be the case.

First you need to update to PlayMaker 1.8 while under Unity 4, verify all is working, and then upgrade to Unity 5.

Have you done it this way?

rehooking could require you to select another fsm and back just for PlayMaker editor to refresh. Sometimes error don't go away straight away.

Bye,

 Jean

Hi,

I made a backup and tried the "Update All FSM's in Build" tool which seems to have fixed the issue.

Thanks for the reply
