Nintendo 3DS support
« on: July 28, 2017, 05:26:34 PM »
I realize that its not supported officially, and I see two unanswered requests about this, but has anyone any insight into how to possibly getting Playmaker working with the Nintendo 3DS version of Unity?

Hi,
I think most of the standard actions will not be a problem,
But N3DS specific actions are close to none i think.
That does not mean it wont work you can still use get/set properties and if there are specific actions you can always request them.

I do not have any experience with programming for N3DS so i can't say for sure.

Oh no, it won't even build, the second you import Playmaker you get an endless list of red errors.

Hi,
The main problem is that only very few are still interested making games for that platform so it will be very hard to get support, even on unity.
And that is mainly Nintendo's fault.

Yeah, that probably is true; though they only recently brought 3DS support to Unity (within the last 18months), so I had hoped it would have a little longer shelf life than this. Nintendo won't let me return my developers unit.
