Trigger2D Event - Stay Doesn't work on 2017.2 Beta
« on: September 12, 2017, 06:31:09 AM »
Hi!
So far Unity 2017.2 Beta works very well, but I can't get Trigger2D Event - Stay to work. I tried with a brand new object also, just to see if it could be something else on the Player which could cause the problem.

On this new object, I use Trigger2D Event. I tried first with Trigger Enter and it worked, then I changed it to Trigger Stay. Nothing Happened.

Can it be a bug?

Hi,

It could be, is it working on 2017.1 or 5.6 ?

The current beta has a new dedicated build for 2017, are you part of the beta? you could check with the latest, a lot of work has been done on collision and colliders actions and behaviour in general.

Bye,

 Jean

Hi, Jean!

It worked fine in 2017.1. I didn't try it in 5.6.1 for now, but I think it should work there also.

I'm not part of the beta. Just saw it was available for download. Also because it has a build in tilemap editor, which I have been waiting for. Have just some question around that. For example if it's possible to use prefabs with the tilemap.

Hi,

I would file a bug and mention this on the beta list to bring this to the Attention of Alex.

 Bye,

 Jean
